Welcome To

The Christmas Tree Inn

We have 14 cozy inn rooms with cable color TV and a private bath.  Quilts, pillows and nic nacs are always on display, allowing guests to browse and enjoy numerous treasures that have been lovingly collected.

Your stay at our B&B begins with a hearty cooked breakfast by the woodstove in the dining room, along with our Texas Christmas tree and the enjoyment of watching birds, squirrels, and chipmunks eating their meal in our yard. Our Sleigh Room offers a fireplace, large screen TV, VCR and views of the slopes at Sugarbush South from one of the walls of windows. Sofas and chairs are ideally placed for enjoying the fireplace, reading, or working on a puzzle, which is usually in some stage of completion. Our Red Nose Room downstairs is decorated with sports memorabilia and has a woodstove, cable TV, VCR, piano, darts and a ski waxing bench.

All inn rooms are non smoking. We can accommodate adult groups up to 24 people at the inn.

An outdoor tennis court, swimming pool, BBQ and picnic area are open in summer. Seasonal rentals are available.

Our complex is located on the Sugarbush Access Road, just off of Rt. 100, and is convenient to the many activities of the Mad River Valley. The inn and condominiums sit on a beautifully wooded park-like setting, allowing your stay to be enjoyable, quiet and relaxing during any season of the year.

In the winter, we are less than 5 minutes to Sugarbush South, and 10 minutes to Sugarbush North and the Mad River Glen ski areas. Cross country ski centers are also within a 10 minute drive, or you may create your own trails on our property. If you want to be centrally located and ski or snowboard a variety of slopes, we are located midway between Killington, Stowe and Bolton ski resorts. Ice skating, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, indoor pools, tennis, and workout facilities are minutes away.

Excellent skiing continues in the spring with warmer days and some of our larger snowfalls.

A wide variety of activities occur during the summer in the valley and at the inn. Tennis and swimming are available on the premises. An outstanding Robert Trent Jones, Sr. golf course is less than 3 miles away. Mountain bikes almost outnumber the cars in the valley and some of the best hiking trails are located on the mountain. Take a peaceful and breath-taking glider/soaring ride at the nearby Warren airport, or try to catch trout in the Mad River and local streams. Special events also take place in the summer, such as concerts, Ben and Jerry's Festival, 4th of July parades, farmers' markets, craft fairs, horse shows and numerous weddings.

During autumn, the mountains become ablaze with brilliant foliage shades of red, orange, and yellow. There is also the possibility of seeing the season's first snowfall cover the leaves overnight.

Take advantage of fewer crowds during Vermont's other 2 seasons - mud season in the spring, when the snows are melting, and stick season in autumn, after the leaves have fallen.
